Lucknow: The retired IPS officer Amitabh Thakur on Friday was arrested for committing suicide after a woman who had burned it near the Supreme Court complex a few days ago gave up to burn in a hospital in Delhi.
The woman submitted a rape case against members of the BSP parliament who was imprisoned at Atul Rai on May 1, 2019, with the Lanka Police Station in Varanasi.
The complainants and colleagues have burned themselves outside the Supreme Court on August 16, after leveling serious charges against the police and other authorities, including SSP Amit Pathak, retired IG Amitabh Thakur and a judge conspired him.
The incident produced massive actions and former Varanasi SSP Amit Pathak attached to the DGP headquarters by the home department of the State.
Rai, who has submitted a nomination as a BSP candidate from the Ghosi parliamentary seat, won the election as abscoonser and then surrendered before the court on June 22, 2019, and has been in prison since then.
The police have submitted a accusation sheet against Rai and heard in this case on MP-MLA Court in Prayagraj.
Brother Atul Rai Pawan Kumar submitted a complaint in November 2020 with the Varanasi Police Station, accusing a woman for falsifying the date of birth in the document attached to complaints of rape.
The unstrout warrant was issued to women and colleagues in this case by the Varanasi Court earlier this month.
The complainants have also submitted one more case for members of the imprisoned parliament and friends Sudhir Singh with Lanka police, accusing two slanderously through propaganda on social media.
