Greater Noida: The authority of the Nida Greater Industrial Development (Gnida) will establish a special zone to accommodate 200 vendors in five sectors, a step that will free city streets eaten by snack traders and are the main reasons for Snarl traffic.
Five sectors where the seller zone will emerge is beta 1 and 2, sector 36, Delta 2 and Alpha 2.
Officials say design, which has been made by Delhi-based architecture companies, ready and tenders tend to float in a few months.
Gnida hopes to make this seller zone operating this year.
Zones not only have platforms and warehouses for vendors, but also toilets and parking lots.
The bench will also be placed for the buyer.
“We are trying to regulate the seller zone in the five Greater Noida sectors.
A total of 200 vendors will be accommodated there.
The estimated cost of being prepared and the tender will be waved in about two months,” said Narendra Bhoooshan, CEO of Gnida.
Senior officials said construction will begin as soon as the company is selected.
“We want to prepare these zones at the end of 2021 so that the vendors and residents of Greater Noida can be given a new year gift.
It will also increase the beauty of the city and give it a different identity,” said BhooShan.
If the project is successful, Gnida will set the seller zone in another area too.
“When this modern vendor market was established, Greater Noida’s streets and green belts will be free of encroachment by vendors,” said an official Gnida.
