In the midst of the Covid-19 case increase, the Tamil Nadu government on Friday said that the semester exam in all universities will be held online from February 1 to February 20.
Minister of Higher Education Tamil Nadu K Ponmudy said that the government would make a decision regarding the opening of the college after February 20.
“The semester exam at Tamil Nadu College will be held online from Feb 1 to February 20.
The exam for the last semester (after June) will be held physically.
The government will make a decision regarding the opening of the college after February 20,” said Ponmudi.

The state government has also postponed the exam scheduled from January 19.
Health Minister Tamil Nadu Ma Subramanian said the state had vaccinated all school students between 15-18 years with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu on Friday reported 29,870 new Covid-19 cases, 21,684 recovery and 33 deaths in the last 24 hours.
With this, the active case calculates reaching 1,87,358.
