Sena MLA forces contractor to sit on waterlogged road

MUMBAI: Shiv Sena legislator from Chandivali area, Dilip Lande on Sunday made a nullah cleaning contractor sit on waterlogged road for not doing his job properly.
The MLA also asked his workers to put garbage on him.
Shiv Sena is the ruling party in the BMC and in Maharashtra.
“I was trying to call him for two hours but he did not come.
So, I took him there to show him his responsibility,” said Lande.
The Sena MLA further said, “It was the responsibility of the contractor to clean the nullah properly, however, he did not do his job leading to water logging in the area due to which people had to suffer a lot.
As a public representative of the area, the onus is also on me and hence, I have started cleaning the nullah with the help of Shivsaniks to give relief to the common man,” said Lande.
