Send all documents, Lokayukta tells Govt

Thiruvananthapuram: The Lokayukta division bench has ordered the government to produce all documents relating to the re-designation of the Chancellor of Kannur University Gopinath Raveendran after the petition was submitted before the former Ramesh Chennithala opposition leader – Those who have written to Governor Arif Mohammed Khan recommend the name Gopinath Ravedran – numbered corruption, nepotism and abuse of official power.
He said the minister was not entitled to continue his post.
Bench Lokayukta asked the government lawyer to produce documents regarding the removal of representatives of Chancellors.
In his petition, Chennithala said the documents regarding the re-designation of the Chancellor’s representative was not available for him under RTI acting from RTI from the Governor’s Office and the Court must call the documents the decision to form the search committee and referring to Raveendran again at the post.
