Noida / Ghaziabad: Anticipating the increase in Covid case, the Ghaziabad Health Department has written to a private hospital with more than 50 beds in the city to provide details about their facilities, including the number of beds in the pediatric intensive care unit and intensive care units, ventilators and sources Oxygen supply, within three days.

All private hospitals, have 50 beds or more, have been asked to notify the Ministry of Health about the number of reserve beds in trigger and Covid Wards, and the status of the oxygen factory.
“Dr Shankhdhar added that letters have also been issued for local branches of the Indian Medical Association and Association Nursing in this case.
While Ghaziabad reported only three fresh Covid cases and GB Nagar around 40 in November, the capital and several cities NCR had reported cases in two digits.
In the first 15 days of November, Gurugram has added 132 fresh cases while one death from infection was reported on Monday after a gap of nearly three months.
Delhi has also recorded 16 new cases and one death because of infection that day.
During the second wave of infection, around 50 private hospitals have been converted into a Covid hospital in Ghaziabad.
The health department now plans to bind more hospitals if there is a third wave.
A few months ago, a private hospital with 50 beds or more was ordered to sweep 10 beds in trigger wards, besides installing oxygen plants.
At a government hospital, 100 beds have been booked in a trigger environment in various hospitals.
Eleven oxygen plants were also established in nine district government hospitals.
During the recent video conferencing, the state government has asked the district to remain vigilant if the number of patients rose to two digits for a certain period of time and maintained the facilities ready.
