Assistant Commissioner Police, Y Gehil told Tii, “Most senior citizens are uncomfortable with the latest technology.
Mobile phones have become part of our lives but most of the elders use it to call or read messages only.” While checking the details of the Cybercrime case, the police found that the police found that Senior citizens are the victims of the most vulnerable to loan or insurance policy fraud.

The police prepared 40,000 booklets to be distributed to residents.
Ashok Mistry, a member of the Senior Citizen Committee said, “Senior citizens are soft targets for cyber fraudsters.
Our sensitive police not to share important information such as OTPS, card verification values (CVV) or personal identification numbers (PIN) to anyone.”
