Navi Mumbai: Residents of Vashi have complained to Commissioners NMMC and MPCB who accused the ongoing construction work, from the Olympic-sized public swimming pool, NMM bus depot and commercial complex built by NMMC contractors in Sector-12 from Vashi, causing voice pollution.
MPCB officials have been returned stating that the complaint has been forwarded to the relevant field officer.
Complainants, rented accounts, who live in a residential community bordering the plot, where the work is underway, has also written to the NMMC Commissioner about the noise created by a drill machine used for the work of piling up in the plot.
