Navi Mumbai: Panvel City Police solve the 60-year-old Balaram Killing case, a resident of Belavali Village in Panvar Taluka, arrested Nanda Thakur (42) and Mangesh Khetri’s aide, within 48 hours to register the Thakur case, with whom Patil was suspected of having a relationship.
Patil, who owns a mandap decoration business, was found strangled by Dupatta at Thakur’s house in the village of Owale in Panvel on August 13.
Senior Inspector Ajay Landge said Thakur was arrested on Sunday after he returned from Buldhana and got off the bus at Kalamboli Jalan Raya Sion-Panel.
“He revealed the name of Khetri, with the help of whom he committed a crime.
On the afternoon of August 13, when Patil came to Thakur’s house, he called Khetri and planned to seize Patil gold ornaments.
