Thane: The cyber cheat deceives a senior citizen in Thane in the amount of Rs 6.2 lakh with the pretext of helping him refill the phone online.
Fraudsters told the victim that if he failed to recharge his SIM with Rs 11, the card would be blocked.
The man followed his instructions, including those who were to download team viewers, and finally lose the money, police said.
