Pune: A senior journalist with a vernacular daily was found hanging from the ceiling in his flat in Shivtirthanagar off PAUD Road on Tuesday afternoon.
An officer from Kothrud police identified Deaceze like Rajendra Yevalekar (53).
The police said the prime situation facie indicated it into a suicide case.
“The reason behind his death is not known because we did not find a note in the flat.
We are still verifying the facts,” the officer said.
He said the incident was revealed around 3 pm on Tuesday.
Yevalekar was taken to the nearest hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by the doctors.
Yevalekar survived his wife and daughter.
