It touched an intra-day record of 16,349.45.
Bharti Airtel is the top enhancer in the sensex package, soaring around 4 percent, followed by ITC, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel and HCl Tech.
On the other hand, SBI, Indusin Bank, Bajaj Finance and ICICI Bank are among Lamban.
“The domestic benchmark index extends the increase as a rebound in it and the metal supports them for new highest classes.
In addition, the recovery of FMCG and RIL shares supported by the market,” said Binod Modi, Head – Strategy at Reliance Securities.
