Mumbai: Equity Benchmark Sensex across 57,000-mark for the first time, because it jumped more than 200 points in early trade on Tuesday, tracking the increase in the infosys index, HDFC Bank and TCS in the midst of inflows of foreign funds.

Bharti Airtel is the main enhancer in the sensex package, up more than 1 percent, followed by HCL Tech, Tech Mahindra, TCS and Asia Cat.
On the other hand, M & M, Indusind Bank, SBI and Reliance Industries are between sluggish.
In the previous session, the BSE index ended 765.04 points or 1.36 percent higher to 56,889.76, and Nifty jumped 225.85 points or 1.35 percent to close 16,931.05.
Investor foreign institutions (FIIS) changed clean buyers in the capital market when they buy shares worth 1,202.81 crore on Monday, according to temporary exchange data.
“The distinguishing features of the Bull market which began in April 2020, is that it is very stable without a large correction,” V K Vijayakumar, head of investment strategist at Geojit Financial Services.
So, beginner retail investors who entered the market since April 2020 (1.42 crore new Demat accounts opened at FY21) have bought every dip, succeed, he noted, adding that with the Fed commenting on Bulls, momentum tends to take nifty until 17,000.
US equity extends a large increase with the S & P 500 and Nasdaq recording new highs.
In Asia, the stock exchange in Shanghai and Hong Kong traded with losses in the middle agreement, while Tokyo and Seoul were positive.
Meanwhile, Benchmark International Oil Brent crude oil fell 0.53 percent to USD 71.85 per barrel.
