Serbia curb checkmate desi tourists

Mumbai / New Delhi: Suddenly quarantine seven days enacerbated by Serbia for the arrival of India has left a travel plan, including 15-year-old chess player Kabir Wadhawan from the capital, in chaos.
More than 200 Indians, most of them are students, stranded at Belgrade airport on Sunday for hours until the Indian embassy comes to save them.
On Sunday night (in India), the photos of Indians were stranded to make their way to social media.
“Please! There are 300-400 Indian students, residents are jammed with children at Belgrade Airport.
Everyone has connected flights to a place but the police ask quarantine must be seven days.
We can’t, all run out and hungry,” Tweeted Realnick05.
Then, the Embassy said 120 Indians were stranded to go by Lufthansa.
“Indians traveling with other airlines will fly today or tomorrow (Monday-Tuesday).
Embassy officials relate to airport authorities, airlines to ensure the departure of all Indians, ” it was tweeted.
In the last two months, Belgrade has become a termination of transits that are popular for Indians going to countries such as Canada, USA, Saudi Arabia and UAE which have prohibited the entry of passengers from India, said Bhushan Kamble of Akbar.
People traveling from India to Canada, for example , will stay for three days in Belgrade, take RT-PCR reports because Canada does not receive reports from the Indian Laboratory, and continue their journey.
However, the transit-in-Belgrade plan collapsed on Friday after Serbia told the quarantine quarantine of seven days.
While The problem of more than 200 stuck at the airport has been completed, those who have plans to travel through the Beograd in a fast future is fretting.
Chess player Budding Kabir has his first match in Serbia on Saturday (July 17) and thus booked a ticket to reach Belgrade with his father the day before on Friday (July 16).
Now quarantine means he missed several matches.
“I was invited to participate in the four chess shows in various cities of Serbia between July 17 and August 12th.
Just a few days before I was scheduled to leave, fresh quarantine conditions had been put in place.
Now, I’m afraid of losing at least the first event on July 17,” said Kabir ,
