MUMBAI: A collection of explosions happened in a firecracker factory in Dahanu taluka of Palghar district Thursday morning.
No accidents have been reported up to now.
Dahanu MLA Vinod Nikole reported the explosions occurred in the firecracker mill at Dehane village.
He explained the noise of the explosions can be heard five to six kilometres away in town.
Fire employees, authorities and district disaster management officials are working to get to the village.
Nikole reported the employees in the mill are thought to have escaped hearing the burst.
