Gurgaon: Team 12-member of the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) began the sero survey on Saturday in the Kurukshetra District of Haryana to detect the prevalence of SARS-COV-2.

Ten villages are part of a survey where 50 samples must be collected from each village, the health department said.
This is the only district in Haryana where ICMR collects data for seroprevalence.
This is part of the 4th Nationwide survey, which is being carried out in 70 districts throughout India.
On Sunday, the team said they had finished collecting samples from these villages.
“Kurukshetra was previously also part of the Suro Survey therefore, the same district was continued,” said Rajeev Arora, ACS (Health), Haryana.
Per village, the team collected 40 blood samples – all of which were processed in a civil hospital in Kurukshetra.
400 samples from 10 villages have been collected so far.
The team will also collect 100 samples from health care workers on Monday.
This sample will be collected from a civil hospital in Kurukshetra.
