Coimbatore: Seven women from Jharkhand, which was saved from a personal spinning plant in Narasimhanacenpalayam here on Thursday night, sent to their home city on Friday.
The police refused to start actions against factory owners even after the center of the Indian Workers’ Union (Culu) reminded them, said the District Citu Citu C Padmanaban.
“After receiving information about seven women aged between 18 and 25 in the Kumaran Spinning Mill, we tried to contact senior police officers, but did not receive a response.
