ULHASNAGAR: The Vithalwadi police have arrested seven accused before they could commit robbery at Muthoot finance office in Ulhasnagar.
The accused were trying to enter into the finance office, by making a hole using drill machine, to loot valuables.
Police nabbed all seven accused red-handed.
The arrested accused are identified as Jahir Ahmed, 30, Immamuddin Qasim Khan, 57, Rijaul Shaikh, 35, Ram Singh, 32, Kalu Shaikh, 55, Tapan Mandal, 48 and Ajim Shaikh, 28.
Police said that all accused are staying temporarily in Ulhasnagar, out of which Jahir and Immamuddin hails from Uttar Pradesh and Ram Singh from Nepal, while four remaining accused hails from Jharkhand.
The accused on Sunday early morning was committing crime at Camp Number 4 near pani tanki when police team caught them red-handed.
The police suspect that the accused might have committed similar offence in past and are probing the same.
