Pune: Vistadome coach, which was attached to Queen DECCAN since August 15, has seen several passengers on the route Mumbai-Pune, especially because the journey starts at night and passes the Ghat regions.
The statistics provided by the railroad center showed that residence was less than 50% in August.
Prohibiting September 5, which is Sunday, residential has been low this month so far.
On the other hand, Vistadome coach has been popular among passengers on Pune-Mumbai’s route, with 95% overhaust.
The source on the train said that since the train left Mumbai at night, the response was bad.
“The train starts from Mumbai at 5:10 a.m.
and arrives at Pune at 8.25.
People feel that when the train passes through the Karjat-Lonavla Ghat section, it will be dark and they will not be able to see anything,” the official said.
Other train officials said the popular Queen of DECCAN and the train hoped that Vistadome coach attracted more passengers as the normal pandemic situation.
“On Sunday the coach has a decent occupancy on the route Mumbai-Pune.
The train will observe a response for three to four months,” the official said.
The chair tariff in the Vistadome coach at Queen DECCAN is Rs 915.
Jaideep Malviya, who recently traveled in coach from Pune, said the most suitable for the morning trip to see Western Ghats.
Sandeep Dixit, who traveled to Pune on weekends, said the scenery could not be enjoyed at night.
“The ticket price is high and with nothing looks, it’s better to travel on the regular coach,” Dixit said.
