CHENNAI: Following a 12-hour Question session, Authorities on Monday Detained a PSBB Senior Secondary School Instructor, Confronting sexual harassment charges, Beneath the Pocso Act, the IT Act and the IPC.
G Rajagopalan, also a 59-year-old who educated commerce in the CBSE-affiliated establishment, was made prior to a Mahila courtroom judge who ordered that he’s in prison until June 8. Police later searched five times custody of Rajagopalan to get a couple more girls and alumni of this faculty made allegations from the instructor. On Tuesday afternoon, college correspondent Sheela Parthasarathy and chief Geetha Rajendran appeared ahead of the Nagar deputy commissioner of police and had been asked whether they’d received similar complaints against the instructor and when they had initiated actions against him. The sexual harassment came to light through an internet debate on episodes of discrimination faced by pupils. DMK Members of Parliament K Kanimozhi and Dayanidhi Maran tweeted, demanding instant action from the instructor.
