Mangaluru: Two police officers of the Urva police station have been suspended and a female activist was arrested in the case of sexual abuse of lawyers.
Acharya Acticist Pavitra, 33, who allegedly forced a friend of the victim to sign a document denied the incident involving the Advocacy of KSN Rajesh, was arrested on Friday.

City Police Commissioner N Shashi Kumar initiated the disciplinary action and investigation of the Shrikala Sub-Inspector and Pramod Portable head from Urva Station on Thursday based on the investigation carried out by ACP (Central Division) Pa Hegde.
Shashi Kumar said the internship friend, in a complaint, accused Pavitra, President Ashok Nagar Mahila Vedike, took a friend of the victim to the Urva police station and forced him to sign the document to deny the incident involving.
Since sub-inspectors have not brought a problem with the notification of senior officers, the department launched an investigation based on victim complaints.
Acting on the request report, the explanation was sought from Inspector Bharati.
On October 18, two cases were booked at the Women’s Office.
At first, the police ordered Rajesh on charges of student sexual abuse.
In the second, Survivor’s friends accused Pavitra to take him to the police station and force him to sign the document.
