Mumbai: The police have registered a case against the CEO of the film production company in Mumbai for allegedly harassing a 28-year-old woman, an official said on Friday.
Along with Vibhu Agarwal, Ullu Digital CEO Pvt Ltd, the police have ordered the Head of India, which is a woman, in connection with the incident that has occurred in June this year, he said.
“The victim, Versova resident, approached the Amboli police station in Andheri Barat two days ago and filed a complaint against Agarwal and the Head of the Company,” police official said.
In his complaint, the woman claimed that the defendant had sexually harassed it in the company’s office warehouse located in Lotus Business Park in Andheri Barat on June 18, he said.
“According to his complaint, the defendant asked the woman to lift his clothes and threatened to defame his family if he did not follow their instructions,” he added.
Based on his complaint, the police registered a case against two accused under the IPC 354 section (violence or criminal against a woman with a view to anger, 354 (b) (attack or use of criminal powers to any woman or act like that with the intention of scuting or Forcing him to be naked), 506 (criminal intimidation), 34 (general intention), said the official, added that the investigation was being carried out.
