NEW DELHI: After the Taliban arrested power in Afghanistan, Home Saran Minister Amit Shah on Thursday reviewing the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, who had witnessed Pakistani sponsored terrorism, the official source said.
Shah’s meeting with the main functionary of the Central Government and the Indonesian Administration came two days after the Taliban announced a temporary government in Afghanistan.
There are reports that Pakistani-based terror groups Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba – both active in Jammu and Kashmir and are involved in a large number of terror attacks in the past – have shifted their base to Afghanistan friendly.

The Interior Minister reviewed the security situation at Jammu and Kashmir and the steps taken to examine the infiltration from across the border and maintain peace in the Union, the official source said.
Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Home Affairs acting new Afghanistan, is the head of the Terror Group Haqqani network, who is responsible for the attack on Indian assets, including the Indian Embassy in Kabul, in the past.
Taliban spokesman Suhail Shaheen last week said “as a Muslim, we also have the right to raise our voices for Muslims in Kashmir, India or other countries”.
A house ministry spokesman said Shah held a meeting to review the security issues and development of the Union Jammu and Kashmir regions.
The Minister of Home Affairs appreciated the initiative of the development taken by the Administration of the Union region to meet the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said the spokesman.
Lieutenant Governor Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, NSA Ajit Dova, General Chief of General M M M M Naravane, Union Secretary of Ajay Bhalla, Director of the Intelligence Bureau Arvinda Kumar, R & A Head of Samant Goel, BSF DG PANKAJ Singh and Head of Kuldip Singh attended the meeting.
The meeting was believed to have discussed the political and security implications in the Kashmir Valley after the death of the Hurriyat hardline conference chairman Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
The group has chosen the Bhat Natural Masarat, currently in prison, as its chairman.
Shah also reviewed various development initiatives applied in Jammu and Kashmir, including the RS 80,000 Crore package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015, said source.
Shah said in the past that the development and welfare of all the people of the union territory was in the MODI’s top priority list.
