Mumbai: Shaktikanta Das has been re-appointed Governor of Bank India’s reserve for a period of three years.
The decision, announced in a statement from the Cabinet and was effective when the term currently ended December 10, will keep the watershed at the bank helmet to help guide the economic recovery from the pandemic.
Under the DAS, 64, the central bank strives to support growth and maintain liquidity through the worst pandemic by cutting interest rates and pursuing quantitative easing.
