Shamans are beaten to death for illegal relationships in Jatui

Patna: A 40-year-old dukun, Manoj Kumar Pandit, was beaten to death by the Massa for his forbidden relationship with a woman in the village of Seva under the Gidhaur police station in the Jamui District on Monday night.
The police said a group of people led by one Gautam Ravidas dragged Pandit from his personal clinic, tied his hands and legs with a rope and attacked him with a stick and iron rod until he fell unconscious.
No one from the village intervened by the attack by the defendant.
The victim’s brother, Krishna Ranjan Kumar, said the Pandit was sitting at his clinic when several people from Ravidas Tolia from the village attacked him, causing a sad injury.
He rushed to the public health center where the doctor stated he was taken dead.
Kumar also revealed the names of seven suspects.
Then, a fired fired to the Gidhaur police station against Gautam and six of his colleagues.
The police team led by Sho from the Gidhaur police station Amit Kumar visited the place and sent the body to a conscious hospital in Jatui for Postmortem.
Sho said one of the defendants was detained.
JULUI SP (Incharge) Rakesh Kumar said that the officials of the Gidhaur police station were asked to arrest the earliest defendant.
