‘Shang-chi and the legend of ten rings’, Marvel’s first film with Asian superhero, was set for a theater release in India on September 3.
The many awaited films, directed by Daniel Destin Cretton and featured Simu Liu in the role of titular, will be released in English, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada.
“Attention to all Marvel fans! Collect your tribe and Gin Formation.
A new legend will rise! Shang-chi and ten ring legends’ in theaters on September 3,” the studio of his social media wrote.
Chinese actor-Canadian Simu Liu will take the main role as a superhero of martial arts.
Set after the ‘Avengers: Endgame’ (2019) event, the film followed Shang-chi, who had to face the past he thought he left when he was pulled into the network of ten mysterious rings organization.
The film is also Awkwafina star, Meng’er Zhang, Fala Chen, Florian Munteanu, Benedict Wong and Michelle Yeoh.
Bintang Hong Kong Tony Leung was playing Wenwu, Shang-chi’s father and the main criminals in the film.
Cretton, who is known to direct a film like ‘Only Mercy’, has directed the film from the scenario he wrote with Dave Callaham and Andrew Lanham.
The film will also mark the return of Sir Ben Kingsley to MCU.
He first appeared at Robert Downey ‘Iron Man 3’ where he portrayed the role of Trevor Slattery – an actor who disguised as a famous terrorist, Mandarin.
