Large Noida: Sharda Hospital must turn around 200 people who have ordered their slots to be vaccinated on Saturday due to an inadequate number of doses.
The center suspended inoculation drives for Sundays and officials said they expected fresh stock to come on Monday.
When opposing 567 slots booked for Saturday, only 310 people can get Jab.
“There was a lack of hospital, despite making a payment for the number of doses needed 15 days before.
Many people who have ordered their slots through co-win must be rejected.
Usually, we have more footsteps over the weekend, which is 500-550 people , compared to around 300 people on a week.
On Saturday, 567 people have ordered their slots and 310 inoculated.
We must reschedule slots for others on Tuesday, “said Dr.
Ajit Kumar, Director, Public Relations, Sharda Hospital And the university.

The new batch might come on Monday,” Kumar added.
Pejabatoshospital said they had been inoculating around 50,000 people so far.
Usually, private hospitals make payments for vaccine producers for the dosage they need and the district health department facilitates transportation and storage, if needed.
Asked about the crisis at Sharda, Dr.
Neeraj Tyagi, District Immunization Officer in charge of Covid Vaccination, said the Ministry of Health was not responsible in this matter.
“Private hospitals can directly buy vaccines from the manufacturer, in accordance with the latest government of direction.
We help them with storage if needed.
Even in that, stock is not detained at our end and we send a dose from the storage unit on time.
