Google recently launched the imessage reaction support for the Google Message application.
According to a report, now planning new features that will allow users to share photos and videos stored in the Google Photos application via Google Message.
The new APK insight seen by 9To5Google suggested that the technology giant be testing a new method for sharing images and videos in the MMS chat.
Opening the media picker in the chat in Google’s message will display a promo card.
This will provide an option to “share videos because they are intended to be seen and preserve video clarity when you send a Google photo link in MMS conversation.” Activating the feature will allow users to select files that will then appear in the compose field with the Google Badge badge and file.
As stated above, this feature will function for images and videos.
In settings, Google will also provide shortcuts to manage the shared link in the Google Photos application.
This report also states that Google returns the ‘Hamburger Menu’ which is also known as the ‘Navigation drawer’ to the Google Message application.
The shared screenshot in the report shows the navigation drawer placed on the left side of the search field.
This includes items such as “starring,” “archived,” “spam & blocked,” “pairing device,” “select themes,” and “Mark all as read.” At present, most of these options are placed on the three-point menu on the right.
Another upcoming feature for the Google Messages application is an account switcher that can be placed in the upper right corner.
Although not much detail about this feature, it is possible that the account switcher will be similar to those currently offered in Gmail and Google Play App.
