Mumbai: The many awaited comeback does not happen as the name Ravi Shastri is not a character in the commentator list for the white ball series next month against West Indies.
Former Indian captain and coach are not part of the seven selected experts by the control board for Cricket in India (BCCI) for the six-match series that began at Ahmedabad February 6.
Sunil Gavaskar, L Sivaramakrishnan, Harsha Bhogle, Murali Kartik, Deep Dasgupta and Ajit Agarkar Six Indians on the list for three ODIS with Ian Bishop, West India, joined them in the Ahmedabad game.
The list will be one that is lacking (Sivaramakrishnan) for three international twenty20 in Kolkata.
