SHGS to maintain school infrastructure

Bhubaneswar: The school and mass education department has decided to submit the maintenance of school infrastructure and gardens made under Abhiyan’s school to the Local Mission of Shakti-Mandiri Group (SHG).
The announcement was made by the Secretary of the Satyabrata Sahu Department at the 27th Executive Board (EC) meeting of Mo Abhiyan’s school was held here on Friday.
The Board will submit a proposal to the state government.
The department will hold an orientation program to polish the digital skills of Teacher.
For this, the proposal to sign the MoU with the Quest Alliance is underway.
In the next three years, more than 20,000 teachers from 4,000 schools and 16 Lakh students will be competent in the digital arena.
Within a month, 30,768 alumni have joined Mo Abhiyan’s school and donated Rs 7.32 Crore to develop their respective schools.
After adding the share of state government, the total number of RS 21.96 Crore last month.
There are plans to develop elementary schools in Kandhamal and Raya Regency with the support of Tata Trusts, alumni members, and the community.
To increase the sense of community participation, Pratham and Bharat Gyan Vigyan Samiti will conduct study camps for elementary school students at 5,000 locations of rural and urban areas.
The Board has instructed MO school authorities to form a special team to monitor the progress of the school project under Abhiyan.
