Shibu, Hemant was re-elected as JMM Prez, working Prez

Ranchi: The Ruling Executive Committee Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) on Saturday night was re-elected Shibu Soren as his president for a three-year term and Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren as president of successive workers.
Both leaders were re-elected at the 12th party general convention, held at Sohrai Bhawan Bhanquet Hall in Haru here.
Overcoming the gathering, Suptugenarian Shibu, which was referred to by his party colleagues as “Guruiui”, urged JMM workers and office carriers to remain united and work to eradicate social crime in the tribal community, gambling and illiterate children.
In his speech, Hemant urged party workers to remain united.
With clothes marked by internal quarrels in recent months along with the more sounds of differences of opinion, he said the party leadership would still open the door for every worker marking the problem.

The party also raised the annual voluntary contribution by the carrier of offices and parliamentarians.
Previously, MLA who was in power or minister had to donate Rs 10,000 to party funds.
Now, they have to pay Rs 50,000.
In other resolutions, JMM proposed establishing a commission to conduct family surveys that lost their homes and land because of industrial and government projects and assistance in their rehabilitation, education and livelihoods.
The tribe party also passed a resolution that demanded a 50% reservation for women, a 28% reservation for OBC bookings and 27% for ST in government and private work.
It also demands that government land not be used in village and block areas will be given about short-term leases to rural people to take agriculture.
