He chaired a review of the reviews on Covid-19 assistance steps and rain at the office of the deputy commissioner here on Friday.
“Reach the Covid-19 testing target in each net and increase the number of tests if needed.

Officials must ensure that posting doctors, lab technicians and other necessary staff are filled, he said.
“Taking steps to check the spread of the virus and ensure the right treatment for infected is the main goal of the government.

Deputy Commissioner K V Rajendra said that the district government had received a round to distribute RS 1 Lakh Ex Gratia to their relatives who died of Covid-19.
“We have directed Tahsildar to prepare a list of beneficiaries that meet the requirements in this district,” DC said.
Discuss the situation of rain in Dakshina Kannada, the minister directed officials to fill holes on the road.
“The RS 10,000 Rain Relief announced by the government must be immediately handed over to the family,” said Minister.
DC said that 86 houses were completely damaged by rain in the district starting in April 1.
Meanwhile, 490 houses were partially damaged, he said, adding that the district had not reported plant losses.
‘Move the family from Seashore’ the minister directed officials to hold a discussion with MLA to shift families who were close to the sea in the district.
“Families who live in homes in coastal villages, who face the threat of ocean erosion, must be shifted, and they can be provided by a house under the housing scheme of Rajiv Gandhi,” Angara said.
