During a 14-year-long leave of Hindi films, actor Shilpa Shetty Kundrra said he was approached to star in the main Hollywood project, which he refused because he did not want to change teeth so drastically.
The last full Bollywood film was in 2007, with the Anurag ‘Life in A Metro’ filmmaker and Dharmendra-Starrer ‘Apne’.
In the same year, he also emerged as a winner of the British reality TV series which made it global figure.
Even though his Hindi film appearance became a little and far between, with a film like, ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Dostana’, the actor said he continued to get really good spare parts, including the offer from Hollywood.
Shilpa, who was more active on television as a judge of the reality show dance said rejecting the project from Los Angeles was not a very difficult decision because it settled in the US was not a cup of tea.
“My child was very upset with me because I was offered a few big things even in Hollywood, but I said it wasn’t for it.
To just shift the base from Mumbai and settle in Los Angeles was actually not my cup of tea,” 46 years old.
-Dold’s actor was told in an interview.
Shilpa is happy to marry the Kundra and they have two children, Putra Vian and Princess Samisha.
Even though the actor looked at him as a big opportunity missing, he was satisfied to work in the Hindi film industry for now, and would turn to the other side if he had the opportunity after his children were at a certain age.
“I was clear about what I wanted.
I like to do the job here.
This is a big opportunity that is missing, but I am very happy with whatever I have.
I would be very unhappy to leave my family and shift the teeth so drastically.
“It’s too much to be given and I think I’m not ready for it.
Maybe so my children are 15 years old, then I will (consider) if I still look like this!” He added.
After making debut at the age of 17 with the 1993 Thriller Abbas-Mustan, ‘Baazigar’, the actor said it was a conscious decision to reduce work.

“I have reached a saturation point, which happened to many artists.
After ‘living in the Metro’ and ‘Apne’, people began offering me the same type of role.
They are not really interesting and I live and take it and take it on Sabbath, “He said.
What also encouraged him to rest was his personal life.
Shilpa said he was eager to start the new phase of his life in the late 2000s and had decided he would not work for some time when he had children.
“Immediately after, I had Vian.
I have decided when I will have my first child, I will dedicate all my time for a baby.
I was told the first seven years a child was very important, they were very easily influenced.
So I made that time.
My family, it is and will continue to be my first priority.
