Shimla limits tourists at Mall Road

Shimla: In the midst of a large wave of tourists to the city of Shimla and afraid of the third wave of Covid-19 Rising, the district government has decided to limit the number of tourists in Ridge and Mall Road.
Deputy Deputy Shimla, Adiya Negi only said a large number of tourists and people will be allowed to enter Ridge and Mall Shimla.

Some benches arranged for seating in these tourist attractions will be removed.

To discuss the issue of the preparation and prevention of the third wave of Covid-19 which was possible, Deputy Commissioner held a meeting with representatives of the merchant association, business actors and buses and taxi operators, and officers of various departments.
Police personnel will ask people to get out of the crowd if there are many people in Ridge and Mall.
Similar steps will be taken elsewhere in Shimla to control the crowd.
After that the necessary steps will be taken based on the results of this decision.
He said employees related to the Tourism and Trade Board will be tested for Covid every month.
List to be given to Administration by the Committee.
On this occasion, the vaccination status of employees working in hotels and stores was also discussed.
He said employees who work in these sectors will be given a priority for vaccination and a list of people who will be vaccinated will be given to administration by the Committee.
