New Delhi: Post-Mortem Report from 38-year executives from online food delivery companies showed that he had suffered a painful injury on his head, chest and limbs in an accident, officials said on Tuesday.
Salil Tripathi was killed last week when Delhi’s police hit, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, crashing into his car into a two-wheeled vehicle executive when he was waiting for food orders.
Constable accused, identified as Zile Singh, was arrested and released with a guarantee, police said, added they were waiting for forensic reports to ensure the existence of alcohol in his blood.
Post-Mortem Report from Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital said that Tripathi suffered a painful injury in his head, chest and limbs, police said.
“Death is due to damage to craniocerybral and hemorrhagic shock due to injury to the body.
All injuries are ante-mortem, fresh before death, caused by blunt trauma / surface impact and can be maintained in road traffic accidents,” said an autopsy report.
Constables accused of being injured and hospitalized, a previous senior police officer.
A case was below the IPC 279 section (rash and driving negligent) and 304A (causing deaths from negligence) registered with police, police said, added further investigation into progress.
The deceased, who lost his father to Covid six months ago, survived his wife, son and 10-year-old mother who lived in Budh Vihar Delhi, they said.
