MUMBAI: Beginning June 1, lockdown-like curbs will probably be marginally relaxed in 15 areas of Maharashtra, including Mumbai, Thane and Pune, in which Covid positivity rate is under 10 percent, a senior bureaucrat said.
Timings for shops selling essential products will soon be extended from 7am-11’m to 7am-2pm, consent will be awarded for e-commerce of non-essential things, and attendance at government offices will likely be raised by 15% to 25 percent, the bureaucrat stated.
The other curbs will last until June 15, reports Prafulla Marpakwar.
At another 21 districts where favorable speed is greater than 10 percent, each of the current constraints will last.
The state cabinet had on Thursday talked in case the curbs must be prolonged in view of instances throughout the country, however it was believed that rather than keeping exactly the exact curbs for the whole nation, criteria ought to be rested where positivity rate had fallen below 10 percent.
