Ludhiana: Vice President of the National Shiv Sena (Punjab) Amit Arora has received a call of threats from Pakistani numbers, asking him not to give his statement as a witness in the targeted murder examined by the National Investigation Agency (Nia).
After Arora cut off the call, the criminals sent a rough audio recording and also threatened to shoot him dead.
Following this, Arora filed a written complaint with Division 7 police on Sunday.
Arora has suffered an attack twice, once in targeted murder offers.
He said, “I have received rude and threatening calls for the past half a month from international numbers, but I ignored it.
On Sunday, I received a call from two different Pakistan numbers.
They threatened me to not appear before the court to give a statement As a witness in the session of the murder case targeted in February.
When I was cut off, they sent a voice note from various numbers, abusing me and threatened to immediately shoot me.
I have given a written complaint at the Division 7 police station.
The police have started the investigation.
” On February 22, 2020, Arora was attacked by unknown strikers in Sector 39, Ludhiana, when he and his friends, including other leaders of the same organization Mani Sheerera, was sitting in the last office in Satkartar.
