Mumbai: Shiv Sena will conduct a public outreach campaign from 12 to 24 to strengthen the organization and expand its base, the leader of the senior party Anil Desai told reporters on Thursday.
Chief Minister of Sena and Maharashtra Uddhav Thackeray discussed the head of the party district virtually during the day and asked them to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level, he said.
“The ‘Shiv-Sampang’ campaign will also help parties to prepare for future local agency polls,” Desai said.
Asked whether the party, who headed the ruling coalition, which included NCP and Congress, would fight for his own polls, he said the strengthening of the party’s base did not mean it planned to do it himself.
“We are in alliances and leaders we will receive a call about the alliance for elections,” he said.
Regarding the Directorate of Enforcement questioning the NCP leader Eknath Khadse in connection with land transactions, Desai said the political vendetta should be avoided.
At the ministry of new cooperation formed by the Government Government, he said cooperation was the subject of the country.
“If the Ministry of Union helps strengthen this sector, it is good, but there must be impossible to encroach on the rights of the state,” Sena leader said.
