Aurangabad: The new statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has arrived in Aurangabad and the formal inauguration ceremony will soon take place.
However, Maratha Kranti Morcha demanded that the opening of the statue must be carried out by the descendants of the maratha warrior king, not politicians.
In the memorandum submitted to the government government, the clothes have been looking for the presence of Udayanraje Bhosale and Sambhaji Raje Bhosale – who are both Rajya Sabha MPS and the descendants of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Pradeep Nawle, from Maratha Kranti Morcha, said it would be right to ensure that the statue was launched before the descendants of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
“Kranti Chowk has a rare significance because he witnessed the first rally in Maharashtra to support Maratha’s reservation.
Warnings and laws that appear here are significant developments.
Therefore, we are looking for the second presence of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to make everything more special,” he said .
When contacted, the civil authority said the official schedule for opening the statue had not been resolved.
