Lucknow: The Sawajwadi Party on Saturday officially stated Shivpal Yadav as a party candidate from Jaswantnagar’s assembly seat.
Party President Akhiklest Yadav submitted a nomination form to ratify it to oppose the OM SP bicycle symbol.
The Shivpal nomination has ended speculation that his son Aditya will compete from his father’s seat and the latter will shift to another safe chair in the belt Yadav.
Pragatatheel Samajwadi Party – Lohia (PSP-L) announced an alliance with SP after Akhilesh Yadav met with Chacha who was alienated in the last residence on December 16.
Initially there was speculation that the shivpal and candidate could compete on the PSP-L symbol.
On January 17, Shivpal announced that all of his party candidates would oppose the selection of SP polls symbols – bicycles.
However, TOI has been, even before the SP-PSPL bond is indicated in its report that other PSP-L candidates will compete in the SP symbol.
