NEW DELHI: Six individuals are spared while an investigation is underway to follow four individuals who went missing following a fire broke out in a shoe godown at Udyog Nagar industrial region near Peeragarhi at Delhi on Monday, ” a police officer said.
Parvinder Singh, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer) stated that ten individuals were within the godown while the fire accident happened.
He explained that firefighting operations are still underway to douse fire at the building, including the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
“We received a phone around 8.50’m about a fire episode in shoe godown.
At least 10 individuals were stuck & other people had abandoned assumptions.
Of these, 6 are conserved.
Look for 4 overlooking on.
Fire being doused in the rest of the part of this construction.
Cause to be determined,” stated the DCP.
Accordng to the authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 8 am on Monday at a shoe godown at Udyog Nagar industrial region near Peeragarhi.
Families of those trapped labourers have assembled outside the mill.
The moms of two labourers– both Abhishek and Shamshad– who’d arrived at work at about 7 am in the mill said,”They’d left home at work in the afternoon and once they got the information of the fire at the mill they reached the place but their sons are still missing” Atul Garg, Director, Delhi Fight Department reported he received the phone around 8:20 am.
“Over 30 vehicles are pressed into service in the place.
However, because of enormous amounts of inflammable substance within this mill, the flame hasn’t yet been controlled nonetheless,” Garg said.
“Originally, the fire department wasn’t advised that anybody was trapped indoors.
However, now as folks are overlooking it appears that they are trapped indoors,” he further added.
