Nagpur: Shooting heavy rain, Congress activists in the city held a rally cycle on Thursday to protest the Government of NDA on the increase in fuel prices and inflation.
The event was organized by the Nagpur District Congress Committee and its rural wing in various places in the city.
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee President Nana Patole led a common meeting along with the Minister of Sports and Sunil Kedar, who rode a bicycle with other activists in Samvidhan Square.
The two senior party leaders have a terrible time while controlling the crowd in the rain.
MLA VIKAS THAKRE, MLC Abhijit Wanjari, president of the rural wing of the party and former Minister of Rajendra Mulak and the others also participated in the rally together with Corporators and a number of activists.
“Activists raised slogans towards the government of Prime Minister Narendra and brought placards to” failure “to control the price of essential commodities that burned holes in ordinary people’s pockets,” said Rajat Deshmukh.
Then, the delegation led by patole and kingar handed over the representation of the demands to the commissioner of the New Division Prajaka Lavangare Verma in his office.
