Shopkeeper sodomises 6-year-old boy in Gurugram, booked

GURUGRAM: A six-year-old boy was allegedly sodomised by a neighbourhood shopkeeper in Sector 9 on Tuesday.
According to the boy’s parents, who work at a private company, he is fond of playing video games on mobile phone but they could not afford to buy him one.
On Tuesday, when they left for work, the shopkeeper lured the boy to his shop by promising him a phone to play games.
The boy was later sodomised and threatened to keep shut.
When his parents returned home and found him scared and enquired, the boy told them what had happened.“When we confronted the accused, he threatened to kill us,” said the boy’s father.
An FIR was registered under section of POCSO Act at Sector 9 police station.
(The victim’s identity has not been revealed to protect his privacy as per Supreme court directives on cases related to sexual assault)
