Ahmedabad: When a large number of candidates who have cleared the teacher’s aptitude test (TAT) are waiting to get teaching jobs, there are nearly 14,000 positions for class 1-8 teachers lying empty in schools managed by the government throughout the country.

This has been expressed by the state government in response to the Right Rights Application (RTI) submitted by Vala Hardevbhai Himjibhai from Trapaj Village in Talaja Taluka from Bhavnagar District.

For grade 1 to grade 5 there are 5,687 jobs and in the 6th grade 8 case case, there are 8,237 positions Blank until August 31, according to the Government’s response to Plea RTI.
Hit in the state government, a spokesman for Congress Manish Doshi said, “There are 50,000 young men and women who have passed TAT and have waited for four years to get the work of school teachers.
How do students learn whether there is a lack of teachers who are so big?”
Questioning the government development model, Doshi said that while the education of students suffered, the government did not do anything for a large number of qualified candidates who were unemployed for the past four years after cleaning TAT.
Tat examination is done by the State Examination board every year.
Validity of the exam certificate is for five years in Gujarat.
Examination is a mandatory requirement for all who want to propose the position of teaching and work principals in schools and school grant assistance.
A large number of schools are in rural areas and the lack of teachers will eventually lead to their closure, said Doshi.
Also, the level of education has deteriorated in the country for years because teachers are entrusted by more than 60 non-teaching activities, Doshi claims.
