MUMBAI: Equipped with inferior gear, the BMC has now cancelled the vaccination drive throughout the town’s public health centers on Thursday.
This could be the fourth case once the civic body has needed to stop the vaccination drive for desire of shares.
Of 49,833 jabs awarded on Wednesday, 44,323 were privately centers; hardly over 5,510 were public centers.
Further municipal commissioner Suresh Kakani stated the city was receiving doses in smallish instalments of 20,000 and 30,000, which not just slows down the driveway but hampers distribution and planning.
“The deficit is solely accountable for the downturn in people vaccination.
We’re hoping to find some dosages on Thursdayin which event we might have the ability to restart by Friday,” he explained.
Vaccination on Friday is going to probably be during online appointments.
Statistics show the government’s driveway was slowing in the previous seven days whereas personal initiatives are flourishing.
