Gurgaon: A brief spell of early-evening mild rain followed by gusty winds and thunderstorm attracted the much-need relief to the occupants by the most popular weather conditions existing in town on Friday.
Nevertheless, the mild showers were sufficient to trigger waterlogging in many low-lying regions of Gurgaon, such as DLF-1,3, Udyog Vihar, Palam Vihar and Sector 23A.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, a top notch over the year’s average, although the highest was 39.6 levels on Friday.
The air quality index (AQI), nevertheless, slowed slightly and slid into the’medium’ category.
