Patna: Light rainfall until continues to occur in different places in Bihar on Thursday and the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has expected rainfall that is widespread in the state of the week.
Simply extensive rainfall has been predicted in the state on Friday and Saturday also especially in the southeast district.
The All-India bulletin issued by the IMD on Thursday nights stated that the rainfall was quite widely likely in Bihar from August 7 to 9.
IMD has also issued a yellow alert to heavy rain accompanied by storm and lightning in isolated places in Bihar from Bihar Saturday to Monday.
The yellow warning by the IMD asked the authorities to become a wary of the development of extreme weather.
An official at the Patna Meteorological Center said light until moderate rainfall took place in most places in the state in the past 24 hours, along with heavy rainfall in one or two places in South Bihar.
The official said the rainstyle of the rainy season passed Ganganagar, Narnaul, North Madhya Pradesh, Varanasi, Style, Bankura and Thence Tearswards to Northeast Bengal.
In addition, the low pressure area is located in the North Madhya Pradesh along with the circulation of related cyclones in North Bengal.
Meanwhile, Bihar has received rainfall of 18% surplus in the rainy season until now.
In accordance with the data available on the IMD website, Bihar has received 664.8mm rainfall from June 1 to August 5 to normal rainfall of 562.0mm during the same period.
