Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla arrived in London on Friday on a two-day visit to England to conduct a detailed review of the Roadmap 2030, a 10-year plan launched in May for the UK-Indian partnership on the road to the FREE trade agreement (FTA).
Announcing a visit, the External Ministry (MEA) said he would also discuss regional and global issues that have a common interest with his colleagues in the UK.
British partner Shringla will be Lord Tariq Ahmad, the Minister of South Asia in a foreign office.
Roadmap 2030 was adopted on the virtual summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Boris Room Boris Johnson to increase bilateral bonds with a comprehensive strategic partnership and guide cooperation over the next decade in the main areas of trade and economic and climate.
Change, among others.
“During a visit, the foreign secretary will meet with his colleagues and conduct detailed reviews about bilateral relations with a special focus on the implementation of the Roadmap 2030,” said MEA spokesman Arindam Bagchi on a media briefing in New Delhi.
“He will also discuss the regional and global issues of interest together,” he said.
It can be understood that the situation that developed in Afghanistan is likely to look for the involvement of Shringla in London.
