Yashpal Sharma, an actor who acted with Shyam in the films Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Lagaan said, “I knew that he was no longer there.
So we rushed here and found him still breathing.
His doctor died.
He was hospitalized during 4 days.
He has high blood sugar and is used to take an injection during the shooting of his last film.

Ashoke Pandit filmmaker grieved at his death on Twitter.

Shyam has gained fame as Thakur Sajjan Singh in the popular TV series ‘Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya’.
He also made appearances in films such as ‘Slumdog Millionaire’, ‘Queen bandits’, ‘DIL SE’, ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’.
Last year, in September, Anupam Shyam, a resident of Pratapgarh, has expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath to provide financial assistance for his medical treatment.
