Bengaluru: Clashes between the State Unit of the State DK Shivakumar Congress and Opposition Leader Siddaramaia for who would be the face of the party in the assembly selection of 2023 has reached a high command in New Delhi.
They are scheduled to meet with President AICC Sonia Gandhi and former President Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday.
The source of Congress said the Secretary General of the Priyanka Party Gandhi Vadra could also attend.
After winning seven of the ten local urban agencies in recent polls, the party hopes to bring momentum into local agencies and MLC (25 seats from Panchayats) elections for the next 18 months before the assembly selection of 2023.
One-strengthening between Shivakumar and Siddaramaiiah with followers of the camp who projected them as the next minister’s head was a problem.
The third group was pitching for the main Minister of Dalit with Malikarjun Kharge and G parameswara as a prominent competitor.
“The fight will be projected as a candidate for the main minister when the two-year election is not only ridiculous but also hurts the party’s image.
Some of us are looking for high command intervention,” said Senior Congress and MLC BK Hariprasad.
Leadership can direct the two leaders to combat elections under one leader and hold their supporters not to have a public statement.
However, both of them underestimate this problem, stated that the meeting was about the restructuring of the organization and the appointment of the office carrier.
“There are no questions to fight for the main minister when we have not received it.
The meeting will discuss the organizational issue,” Shivakumar said.
Siddaramaiiah said: “Don’t read too much in this matter.
This is a routine meeting where parties and political problems will be discussed.” Shivakumar said AICC General Randeep Surjewala will visit Karnataka next week to hold a meeting in the Division of MySuru, Tumaku, Mangaluru and Hubballi -Dharwad.
Surjewala was reported to seek a change from being a responsible carnataka because of the busy journey and responsibility of the other party.
